Is Nest Mattress Non Toxic?

Nest Bedding is known for carrying several different luxury mattress models. Many people search online for ‘Is Nest Mattress Non Toxic?’, as they offer several different organic options.

You’ll be happy to know that Nest Beddings Quail Love and Sleep mattress is completely non toxic.

The Quail, like almost every other internet mattress, delivers for free and is compressed and packed into a cardboard box. Then all you have to do is carry the box inside and remove the packaging. The unboxing procedure is simple and enjoyable. Allow 24 to 48 hours for your mattress to deflate and air out before sleeping on it.

Nest gives you a 365-night trial period from the date of delivery to try out the mattress and determine if it’s the ideal bed for you. Remember that it may take several weeks for your body to acclimate to the new mattress. Simply contact Nest Bedding if you decide this isn’t the perfect bed for you and you don’t want to retain it.

They’ll also send someone to pick up your mattress, remove it, and donate it to a local charity in need—all for free.

You can also call 1-888-992-2001 if you have any queries regarding the Love & Sleep bed or any other Nest mattress. This is the company’s customer service telephone number. Nest Bedding has a team of people dedicated to answering customer queries and assisting them in deciding which mattress is ideal for them.

Quail Love and Sleep Price

While we wouldn’t call Quail a luxury mattress, it is definitely made to a higher grade than, say, many Amazon mattresses.

It’s not only made in the United States, but it’s also thicker than many foam beds (more on that below). We bring this up since it’s all part of why we think Quail is such a good deal.

Before you apply any savings, here’s a pricing breakdown.

Size Price (MSRP)
Twin $584.10
Twin XL $629.10
Full $764.10
Queen $899.10
King / Cal King $1079.10
Split King / Cal King $629.10/side

Quail Foam Mattress Construction

Quail is a foam-only mattress that is 10-11 inches in height. For the record, most all-foam beds are between 9 and 10 inches thick. Casper Element and Leesa are a couple of instances.

Quail begins with a thick layer of polyurethane foam that serves as the mattress’s basis.

Then there’s a transition layer, followed by Energex foam, which has the same pressure-relieving properties as memory foam but is considerably more responsive and doesn’t retain heat as much.

All of the foams are created in the United States and are CertiPUR-US certified, which means they’ve been thoroughly tested for any known dangerous compounds by a reputable third party. There are no flame retardant chemicals in Nest Bedding mattresses. Instead, they encase the entire mattress with hydrated silica as a fire barrier. This barrier melts into itself in the event of a fire, suffocating the oxygen required for fire to ignite.

The Greenguard Gold Certification and NAAPA (National Association of Academic Psychiatric Administrators) Award have both been given to the Quail mattress.

Quail has a soft cover with a phase-change material that assists with temperature regulation.

Firmness Options For The Quail Mattress

Quail, unlike many other bed-in-a-box mattresses, comes in two firmness levels: Medium and Firm. On the soft-to-firm scale, the Medium choice is, unsurprisingly, halfway between medium and medium-firm. The Firm option is more akin to a true midsize firm.

The bed’s general feel is very neutral, yet it is still incredibly comfy. It doesn’t have the same sensation as a memory foam or latex mattress. Rather, it resembles a massive slab of softer foam. In other words, it lacks the unique feel of many of these low-cost mattresses.

It also reacts fast to applied and removed pressure. This is significant since it implies that changing sleeping positions on the bed will be simple. Many memory foam beds retain their shape, requiring you to take more effort to change positions from back to side, for example. This can make you feel agitated. The good news is that Love & Sleep is extremely sensitive, so changing positions shouldn’t be a problem.

Great For Back & Stomach Sleepers

For back and stomach sleepers, the Quail mattress is ideal. This is due to the fact that it is firmer (particularly if you choose the Firm version), which aids in maintaining neutral spinal alignment.

Keep in mind that the softness/firmness of your mattress is proportional to your weight. The more a person weighs, the more they sink into the mattress, making the bed feel softer. The more weight a person has, the more they lie on top of the mattress, making it firmer.

Sleep Temperature

It’s more temperature neutral, in our opinion. In its cover, they use “Thermic Phase Change Cooling Fabric,” which helps dissipate body heat through the mattress.

We believe it works well enough to keep you from overheating, but not good enough to qualify as a cooling mattress.

What About For Couples?

Overall, we’d recommend this bed to couples. On this bed, the edge support is rather good. This implies that if you and your spouse share a full-size bed and quarrel over who gets to sleep in the middle, neither of you will fall off the side into the floor because the mattress’s edge can’t support them.

Quail is also effective at isolating motion, which is another reason we recommend it for couples. Motion does travel through the mattress in our extremely scientific test, as you can see below, but not to the extent that we are concerned about light sleepers using this mattress.

Final Thoughts On Quail Love & Sleep

This is a good mattress for the money, and the name is also appealing.

This bed is best for back, stomach, and combo sleepers who prefer a neutral-feeling mattress.

If you’re on a tight budget, Quail is one of the better options available.

It may win on price alone, but it also has a lot going for it. Is Nest Mattress Non Toxic
